Barbeque Sauce Recipe from the Tropics

This tropical barbeque sauce recipe works great with chicken and pork. You can even use it with hamburger. If you are cooking chicken or pork, marinate the meat overnight in the sauce. If you are cooking hamburgers, just brush it on and put them on the grill. You make make this barbeque sauce ahead of time and put it in your refrigerator.

Make sure to put chicken or pork chops in a flat glass dish to marinate because of the acid in the lemon. Cover these with this barbecue sauce and let sit overnight in your refrigerator.

This recipe is for eight large breasts of chicken or eight thick pork chops or eight thick spareribs.

Mix these ingredients in glass bowl:
1 fresh lemon squeezed
1 cup of ketchup
1 cup of blackstrap molasses
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 orange squeezed (any kind)
1 pinch of garlic salt
1 teaspoon of pineapple juice either from can of pineapple or from can juice or from fresh pineapple

You may want to use the leftover pineapple on top of your pork or chicken. If you are making hamburgers make smaller quantities of the sauce. Take it with you and brush your hamburgers with the sauce at your picnic.

Brush the sauce on both sides of your meat and then put in refrigerator. Refrigerate any leftover sauce.

Doesn't this sauce sound great! I think it is an unusual barbeque sauce recipe.
